Terms & Conditions (Pending approval)
Last updated: 4 June 2026
These terms govern your use of this website and the online booking process operated by Sterling Law ("we", "us", "our"). By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. About us
Sterling Law is a firm of solicitors authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA No. 630147).
- Address: Temple Chambers, 3-7 Temple Avenue, London, EC4Y 0DT
- Email: oleksandr.t@sterling-law.co.uk
2. No legal advice and no solicitor–client relationship
The content of this website is general information about our settlement agreement review service and does not constitute legal advice. Using this website or booking a call does not, by itself, create a solicitor–client relationship. A client relationship begins only once we have completed our onboarding and conflict checks and you have entered into a separate engagement (client care letter and terms of business) with us.
3. Our service
We offer a solicitor-led review of settlement agreements for employees. The scope of any work, fees, and timescales are set out in your engagement terms. Any turnaround times mentioned on this website (for example, a target review within 2 business days) are targets only, subject to availability and the complexity of your matter, and are not guarantees.
4. Booking appointments
Appointments are booked through a third-party online scheduling tool and are subject to availability. We may need to reschedule where necessary. Booking an appointment does not guarantee that we will be able to act for you, which depends on our onboarding and conflict checks and the suitability of your matter.
5. Eligibility and acceptable use
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and not to:
- misuse the site by knowingly introducing malicious or harmful material;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its underlying systems;
- provide false or misleading information when contacting us or booking.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is owned by or licensed to Sterling Law and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for your own personal, non-commercial use only.
7. Third-party links and tools
This website may link to or rely on third-party services (such as the appointment scheduling tool). We are not responsible for the content or availability of third-party services, and their use may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Disclaimers and liability
We take reasonable care to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information is complete or current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Regulatory information and complaints
We are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and the SRA Standards and Regulations apply to our work. If you become a client and are unhappy with our service, you may use our internal complaints procedure, which we will provide to you. If your complaint is not resolved, you may be able to refer it to the Legal Ombudsman:
- Legal Ombudsman, PO Box 6167, Slough, SL1 0EH
- Telephone: 0300 555 0333
- legalombudsman.org.uk
10. Privacy
Our use of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page applies to your use of the website. Please check this page for the current terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
