Marina Williamson joined the firm in early 2017; her main areas of expertise are Criminal, Family and Dispute Resolution.
She is a highly committed and passionate practitioner who is always dedicated and compassionate towards her clients’ circumstances.
Marina has been published in the Voice Newspaper for several legal articles, was featured in the Sunday Telegraph as one of the UK’s ‘Top Rated’ Solicitors in April 2015 and 2016 and appeared in the Law Society Gazette in September 2015 prior to her parliamentary petition. Marina has been commended for her ability to act for her clients throughout the entirety of their criminal matter from the Police Station to Magistrates Court and Crown Court.
Marina is an Accredited Police Station Representative and holds the Higher Courts Qualification which gives her right of audience to appear before the Crown Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court as a Solicitor Advocate. She has extensive experience of dealing with all aspects of general and serious crime and has defended clients in cases including immigration offences, road traffic offences, GBH, class A drugs, firearms, child cruelty, riot, robbery, fraud, kidnap, arson and benefit fraud, money laundering several of which have been reported in the tabloid press.
Marina always is appreciable and always exhibits understanding and empathy when acting for her clients in family proceedings. She has experience in every aspect of family breakdown including, emergency injunctions, domestic violence, children disputes, care proceedings, divorce and ancillary relief where her work focuses on financial settlement and the future arrangements for children giving clients the opportunity to explore a mutually beneficial resolution of their issues so ensuring that an agreement can be reached swiftly, amicably and with dignity. Marina regularly appears before the Family Courts.
